In my 4 day masterclass I teach you how to:
transform an idea into a sketch and the sketch into a pattern & template
create your own template and adjust it to any headsize
transform & adjust an original Ariane Mariane template
make high quality sculptural felt
fiber paint
nuno felt
relief techniques
addings flaps and cords
….
This class is inspired by the hat making workshop I run in my art studio since 2012 in 3 days. The online class is ~8h of direct online teaching spread on 4 days in a row.
The live teaching, allows students to ask questions at any time. Generally students finish their hat during the class ( with ~5 hours of “homework”).
Handouts, recording and an original Ariane Mariane template are included in the workshop price, allowing to remember and easy follow all instructions.

I aim to offer an online class about sculptural hat making each month:
an English “Parisian morning class” starting here at 9h30 AM -> a good time if you want to join from Australia for example
an English “Parisian evening class” at 5h00 PM for felters from America
