To take full advantage of this workshop you need a good internet connection and a device with camera and microphone!

If you want to create your own unique bird critter during the class, basics knowledge in wet felting techniques are necessary. If you are a beginner (or if you don’t want to work during the class) you are very welcome to participate by taking notes.

What you will learn:

• making and creating with prefelts

• fiber painting and collage techniques with fibers

• making high quality, sculptural felt

• sculpturing a critter out of a flat felted surface

How does it work?

This course will be hold on the free communication app Zoom. You need to install it on the device of your choice. Best works a tablet or laptop.

I’ll have two cameras, allowing you to see the work in progress from two angles. If you are connected with a phone you’ll probably only see one.

HOW TO JOIN

Please pay attention that you book an English spoken class (except if you like to practice your French :)).

MATERIALS

(you need if you want to create a critter during the online class)

• ~ 10g (0.4oz) multicolored wool of you choice

• ~ 10g (0.4oz) dark colored wool of you choice (black, chocolate brown, dark blue, purple…)

• 2 x bubble wrap ~ 40 cm (15.7”) x 100 cm (40”)

•  lukewarm, then hot water

• a sprinkler bottle (if you don't have one you can use a sponge, I'll show you how)

• 1 - 2 towels

• optional: all kind of felting tools you are used to (soap, sticks…)
